Let’s Get Real.

Hey guys,

I want to address something on this blog.

I keep getting messages from many of you that they totally envy my travels, see the cool places I visit and the kind of lifestyle I have.

However, what many of you don’t see is the behind-the-doors stuff.

#gettingrealhere.

There’s so many tears I’ve cried over these past 2 years (and continue to cry), so many sleepless nights I’ve experienced (and continue to experience) and constant struggles I continue to have to push through.

Being an entrepreneur and business owner is FAR from easy.

In fact, it’s constantly one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do because you always need to push yourself further.

Please don’t think that the pictures I post on my IG or Facebook are ‘everything’.

There are many many MANY layers to any person – to all of us in here – and you’re only seeing/interpreting one part of it.

Don’t get me wrong.

I would always make the decision to be an entrepreneur again and again.

I wouldn’t have it any other way.

That’s just how I’m wired.

But I just wanted to tell you that if you’re sitting in front of your laptop right now…

Close to tears because things seemingly are not working out for you or they’re just not getting better…

Know that we’re ALL experiencing this.

This feeling of inadequacy.

We’re all the same that way even though everyone has their own unique struggles.

Let’s create a place in here in this community where we can all be open and honest with each other.

Let’s create a safe place where it’s okay to say,
“Today is fucking hard. I need some help or inspiration.”

It’s okay.

We all have those days and even weeks.

Things will get better.

Just keep in mind WHY you started on this journey…
Be thankful for every experience, be patient with yourself and the rest will fall into place.

And if you ever feel like you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, message me.

I’m here.

Let’s do this!

  1. Thank you for being so real about entrepreneurship! It’s a hard and lonely road but definitely worth it.

You are very welcome Yerlin! I think it is definitely SO important to be real and if there are ever any questions, be sure to comment and let’s chat. Thanks for reading ;)!

  2. Many thanks for sharing this. I think it isn’t easy to reflect when things are easy. It’s nice when things are easy but we become comfortable and that’s not always a good thing.

You are right! I recently read this quote by #toryburch and she said, “I’m always perpetually out of my comfort zone.” I think that is a great attitude to abide by because you never want to become to comfortable while still maintaining your emotional healthiness of course ;).
