What Pregnancy Taught Me About The Art & Science Of Business Goal Setting

This article is about how pregnancy and preparing to give birth to my first child taught me about goal setting in business.

I also hope to encourage you to prepare for any other big goal you have this year like a mom prepares for labor AND giving birth to a baby during pregnancy!

9 months.

39 weeks.

273 days.

That’s approximately how long it takes to grow a human inside your body.

A pretty magnificent feed if you think about it, granted that that’s a relatively small period of time in a normal human’s life.

But magnificent, regardless :).

What is equally amazing is that it took me about the same amount of time to prepare for this big goal I have – birth.

That’s right! As a first-time mom (and I’m sure many second and third and fourth time moms too), preparing myself for this event called ‘labor and birth’, was on my upmost mind these past few weeks.

Today, while sipping away on an Iced Almond Milk Latte, I realized that I don’t think I’ve ever quite prepared the same way for any other goal I had in my life!

Especially, in business.

And I am an entrepreneur and the owner of the digital marketing agency, FunnelGal!

Let that sink in for a second.

It honestly shocked me when I started to draw comparisons in my mind and quickly, started to journal about it. That’s when this article came into existence.

Sure, there were high school and college tests and graduations in my life, the wedding to my husband Ben, countless moves, trips, business revenue goals, etc.

Though, nothing – and I repeat NOTHING – has innately made me prepare with such an explicit carefulness to detail and towards one goal, as my pregnancy.

Lemme explain and if you’re a guy reading this right now, this is for you too!! I promise it will be worth your while and after you finish reading this article, I know you’re going to have a completely different perception around goal setting as well.

For starters, the prospect of pushing out an insanely huge thing – a baby – out of one of your body’s entrances is motivation enough to learn more about it. I think we can all agree on that.

But what can we take away from that about business goal setting?

Well, to begin with, we need a why.

A big, mother-fucking…

W-H-Y.

If your ‘why‘ ain’t big enough, your innate drive to prepare the best way you can and accomplish your goal that is related to your why, is diminishing significantly.

So, how can we develop an equally big why as ‘pushing a baby out of your vulva‘?

If we think about the comparison between pregnancy/birth AND business, we can come up with a refreshing new framework of what makes a great WHY.

Now, we’ve already established that a WHY is needed because it’s the gas that helps continuously operate your engine to drive you forward.

Copyright Simon Sinek

As such, a great WHY needs to have/be:

+ Urgent. It needs to have a due date.

+ It needs to have some form of emotional connection related to it.

You need to be able to feel the creation and development of your goal into existence. For example, for a pregnant soon-to-be mom that is the thought of knowing the baby is growing & developing every day plus imagining it.

+ It needs to have a fear related to it, say if ABC ain’t happening, XYZ might occur – this in turn again, creates an innate need to figure things out.

Say, you eat tons of sweets all day, every day during the duration of your pregnancy, you might get pregnancy-related diabetes which in turn can harm you and your baby.

+ It needs to have a simply wonderful outcome that is filled with love.

The outcome for pregnant women is the thought of holding your beautiful baby in your arms one day. When you’ve achieved the goal, what is one wonderful thing you’re going to be able to experience?

+ Your WHY needs to be so big to have potential life-altering effects on you and your family.

A baby changes everything in your family.

Say, you get featured on Forbes or invited to do a TEDTalk, etc. all of these things, alter the course of your life going forward in some way as well! If your WHY does not include a life-altering change, it is not a big enough why.

Dream bigger! Think bigger!

Copyright @CorneliaPauline

If you had established this strong of a WHY, could you imagine how radically different you’d achieve any and all goals?

And I betcha your business would look very different right about now.

Let’s move into the second important piece of achieving any goal:

EXECUTION.

For those of you that have never been pregnant, I want to bring you quickly up to speed on ALL the things that are suggested you do as a pregnant woman.

All of these things essentially are there for prepping you for the big day – labor and birth.

Here’s the list:

  • Daily meditations or mindfulness training.
    • This help you start developing the right mindset to make it through hours of labor filled with probably and surely excruciating waves of pain, also known as contractions.
  • Daily breathing exercises.
    • Practicing deep breathing – so inhale until you can’t fill your lungs with oxygen anymore and then slowly let the air slip out of our body again. This is scientifically proven to lower stress levels when faced with any sort of challenges.
  • The right nutrition.
    • I know that not every one of my friends have gone crazy about their nutrition when pregnant and have splurged a bit every now and then – myself included. However, there are a clear set of suggestions you want to be following when pregnant. Your diet changes. After all, you are creating a human being – all while going about your day!
    • Nutrition for pregnant women is very similar to the kind of strict nutrition lifestyle, athletes, high fashion models, a vegan or someone that is lactose-intolerant follows.
  • Pelvic floor exercises.
    • In case you don’t know what they are, don’t fret about it. It’s something that starts becoming important when you get pregnant because exercising your pelvic floor muscles will make actual birth and postpartum healing so much better.
  • Exercise.
    • Oh my gosh, exercise has been awesome to maintain a healthy, positive mindset during pregnancy and to feel strong and beautiful throughout each passing day of being pregnant. Healthcare professionals are suggesting everything from yoga to cardio and weight training.

  • Education.
    • I’ve watched documentaries pertaining to labor and birth like ‘The Business Of Being Born‘ plus Youtube videos, read books on how I can ‘improve’ my labor and birth outcome, attended child-birthing classes like the Bradley Method Class, etc. I feel like I could give a course on pregnancy right about now haha :).
  • Labor preparations.
    • Here, I’m going to include everything from choosing the right care provider to deciding where to have the baby, etc.
  • Etc.

In short and during the timeframe of nine months, your FOCUS is on creating the BEST environment for your baby to grow, thrive and be healthy.

My question for you is:

Can you say you are preparing in the same meticulous way for any type of business goal you have at the moment?

OR,

Is this something you could approve upon?

I am one hundred percent positive that if you are not happy with your business at the moment or, if you have failed to achieve your goals (in the past and in this moment),

There is something about your execution and action list that can be improved upon.

If you go back to the list of all the action items that women do on a pretty regular basis during pregnancy, it should inspire you to look at your own daily list of business execution items as well.

Also, are they all connected to your WHY we talked about before and moving you towards achieving one, definite GOAL.

You need a different ‘list of execution items’ for different goals!

It is easy feel overwhelmed in your business, if you have not set a CLEAR WHY, defined ONE CLEAR GOAL and worked out an execution list on how to get there.

You can find a great further read on ‘business goal setting’ on INC. Magazine here that goes into detail on the different components of a goal you want to be focusing on as a CEO for your business.

I can guarantee you that once you worked out an ‘action or execution list’ – similarly, to a woman that has just found out she was expecting a beautiful baby – your imminent achievement of your goals is a given!

Furthermore and regardless, how tired you might feel, if you experience emotions of doubts and worries, if you feel demotivated because you don’t feel your best on a given day,… whatever it is!

Your WHY on why you are doing what you are doing every single day because you’ve got a clear, definite goal with a set due date – WILL KEEP YOU GOING!

Just like it helps a woman during her pregnancy ;).

If you think about anything that you’ve achieved in the past that was worth-while achieving, you’ve probably invested months – even years, at times – prepping for it.

Preparing for this life-altering event of giving birth and becoming a parent takes time. And it should!

If you find yourself impatient because you haven’t quite hit your business goals yet – be patient.

  1. Reflect on why you haven’t hit your goal yet.
  2. Work on re-developing a stronger WHY for you.
  3. Create a new plan and prepare yourself better for your goal now that you’ve read this article.
  4. Have an unwavering faith in a positive outcome.
  5. Let go and do your daily dues to put yourself in the best position to succeed.

Here’s to not only birthing healthy babies but also, birthing successful businesses :)!

9 Juicy Key Takeaways From Funnel Hacking Live 2019

This year’s funnel hacking live has proven to be a true rollercoaster of emotions for myself and the team.

Scared. Excited. Overwhelmed. Empowered. Energized. Tired. Jet-lagged. Sad. Happy. Fun. Thoughtful. And more.

These are only a few of the words I’d use to describe the conference.

For some reason, I’ve felt more anxiety towards this year’s Funnel Hacking Live than the previous one before.

You see, every time the day for such a conference comes around that you attend on a regular basis, you think about ALL the things you haven’t done *yet*.

The things you told yourself last year you’d have accomplished by now.

In short, you focus pretty much on ‘lack’. Instead on focusing on all the stuff you did do.

Well, at least that’s the case for me. Can you relate :)?

Anyway, as soon as the conference started though and by the second day, I was in full-on conference empowerment mode.

I absolutely adored meeting a few of my Funnel Pro Academy students as well as past and current clients. Plus, I got to meet some people I truly respected and looked up to in the industry and some awesome new peeps as well.

The networking is what made this conference truly a success!

But if you’re reading this right now, I’m taking it that you’re curious because you might have not had the chance to attend this year.

{Side note: If that’s the case, I want to see you there next year <3! It’s such an experience and a true adventure!}

So, without further ado, here are a few of the juiciest takeaways my team and I were able to take away from the Funnel Pro Academy sessions and workshops:

Number 1: Troubleshoot.

If your funnel ain’t working, it’s almost always due to one of these three thing: Hook, Story, Offer.

If you nail the hook, tell a more engaging story or create a killer offer, your audience won’t have another choice than to buy from you!

Remember: The hook is what grabs the attention, the story helps to connect on an emotional level and the offer is where the value is communicated and sold.

With Viral Sensation & The Queen Of Social Media <3, Rachel Pedersen.

Number 2: Funnel Hacking.

This term can be so confusing for newbies to the digital marketing and funnel world.

But during Funnel Hacking Live, the man himself – Russell Brunson – defined ‘funnel hacking’ in the best way I’ve personally ever heard it:

Funnel Hacking is all about identifying patterns of success!

In essence, all you want to be doing is identify patterns in your niche and industry of what’s already working. Cool :)?

With the awesome founders of MarketingMinds & fellow Austrians #austriansrule ;).

Number 3: Language & Stories Sell.

Always focus on simplifying your marketing language that you use to communicate offers with your audience.

People don’t understand ‘smart’ lingo but simple and to the point – wins every day :).

Not only that, you want to package your marketing message into a story. Always. Why? Because STORIES SELL! Since the beginning of time, people have communicated by telling each other stories.

Stories are the thing that will make us feel emotion and connect with each other – more so than any other form of communication out there.

If you’re having trouble coming up with a great copy that tells a story, regardless of your email newsletters, social media posts, videos for your landing page, your sales page copy and more – I’ve got the solution for you.

It’s a cool, secret software I use myself to craft a ton of copy I use as an online business owner on a daily basis. You can learn more about it HERE.

Learn how to write compelling copy,
fast and easy with this secret software.
With Yesim Saydan from Turkey and the founder of Your Social Media Expert.

Number 4: Voice.

As you work on finding your voice in the online space, your people will find you. Powerful, isn’t it?

You just have to go out and work on finding your voice and you do this by creating content.

With George Bryant, New York Times Bestseller and founder of Civilized Cavemen.

Number 5: Funnel Growth.

You don’t need to have your entire value ladder figured out. Heck! Even people who have plenty of working funnels and have been in this industry for years don’t know their value ladder 100%.

The ideal approach you want to take here is to GROW WITH YOUR CUSTOMER.

LISTEN TO THEM. AND AFTER YOU’VE DONE THAT, CREATE OFFERS & PROGRAMS THAT WILL ALLOW THEM TO STEP UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

That’s it!

Part of the Funnel Hacking Live ‘German Connection’ this year (Jan Kutchera, Thorsten Bastian from BastaMedia, Fabian Isele – Affiliate Marketer Extraordinaire) plus, with our Australian bossbabe – Aly Swan :).

Number 6: Stories Sell.

We’ve all got some stuff that happened in our lives that we aren’t proud of. A strong message this year at Funnel Hacking Live was to turn your mess into your message.

How so?

When you allow yourself to open up and go deep, get vulnerable while showing your audience how you’ve learned from this experience – this is one of THE most powerful stories you can tell to get people to know, like and trust you.

With my brother, the Network Marketing Genius in Europe and founder of BuildYourLegacy.

Number 7: Customer Relationships.

Want to know the 2 major reasons why your customers stop buying from you? Yes? I thought so :).

Here they are:

(1) You offend them.

(2) You stop selling them or stop making them offers in any shape or form.

With Connie Pak, Director of Marketing at Futurproof Marketing.

Number 8: Social Media Challenge Rules.

Whenever you want to run a challenge, these are a few rules to stick to to make sure your challenge is going to be a success:

(1) Topic of the challenge should be simple and believable.

(2) Get your challenge participants results fast.

(3) Timing for the challenge should not exceed 30 days.

(4) The optimal price point for a challenge offer is around $37 to $97.

With Rachel S. Lee, Affiliate Marketer & Dream-car Winner at Rachel S. Lee.

Number 9: Mindset.

Some of my absolute favorite sayings from this conference have been:

“You can always make up in leverage what you lack in ability.”

“We don’t believe what we say we believe, we only believe what we do.”

And, “Wealth has a need for speed.”

I hope you liked this digestible summary of some of my main takeaways from Funnel Hacking Live :). If you did, be sure to SUBSCRIBE to this blog and/or comment.

How the concept of the ‘Upper Limit’ can be dangerous to entrepreneurs’ mindsets

Have you read this book? Oh, you must read it! It is awesome,” one of my entrepreneur friends said to me.

I glanced at the image of the book she sent me over Facebook messenger. It was ‘The Big Leap’ by Gay Hendricks.

Now, I have a love-hate-kinda relationship with this book.

When I first read this book, I truly liked it. I thought it was full of ground-breaking ideas and concepts. I heard about it while listening to one of Marie Forleo’s Youtube videos. I’m a fan of Marie Forleo and so, I trusted her and read the book.

In the video, she talked about the Upper-Limit concept. I was curious to find out what it was all about because at the time, it resonated with me and the consistent bumps I was experiencing in my business development cycle.

In case you haven’t read the book or, you need a reminder regarding the main message of the book, this is it:

According to Gay Hendricks, we each have a set point for happiness, he says, like the setting on a thermostat.

Whenever we reach beyond it, we unconsciously drag ourselves back down to the level we’ve gotten used to. We do this by making a mistake, getting sick, ruining a relationship, or finding another way to sabotage ourselves so we don’t exceed our set point for happiness.

According to Hendricks, we develop this set point based on old scripts from childhood and he refers to it as the “upper limit problem.”

Pretty interesting concept, right?

I am not denying that we are not unconsciously programmed in certain ways that goes back to childhood and adolescent experiences. I am also not denying that we carry a lot of these ‘programs’ with us and they influence the way we react to the world we’ve created around us.

Though, over the past four years of full-time entrepreneurship, I’ve found this book to be dangerous in many ways.

Yep. Pretty strong statement right there and I even feel a bit uncomfortable writing this because I am no Gay Hendricks *yet* but I want to explain to you why I – as an entrepreneur and business owner – think that the main message of the book is dangerous.

To explain this further, let’s dive into some truths about human psychology and our inner make up.

Our believes shape our worldview.

Yes? I think we can all agree with that statement..

Yes? I think we can all agree with that statement..

Now, if your belief shapes your worldview, then what you think not only about yourself but the world will shape your reality.

If I buy into this idea that is outlined in the book that to get to each NEXT level in my personal development, I am faced with hitting and working through some form of crushing Upper Limit – it will hold me back.

Heck, I’ve found myself simply finding excuses and explaining certain situations away by referring to them as, “Oh well, this is just my upper limit showing up so I will just have to take this slow. Etc.

What is worse is that I was even expecting to hit a block and either i.e. get physically sick or self-sabotage myself!

At every stage of my entrepreneurial journey that is.

How dangerous is that?

And not only that, I started to believe that growth has to be correlated with pain.

Don’t get me wrong. Sometimes, experiencing pain is essential to grow in specific areas. A great example for this would be going to the gym and reaching a certain body goal. That typically is connected with some form of muscle pain.

Though, if you expect that you are going to experience Upper Limits when you move through professional, business and life stages, you can also take this believe as an excuse NOT to act BECAUSE you know you will experience pain. And we humans, generally try to avoid pain.

Do you see where I am going with this?

Yes, there are many helpful passages in the book. It’s a well-written book, I am not going to negate that and you can certainly take some insightful concepts away from it.

But it is equally important to stress that how you are digesting the context of the book could be potentially dangerous to your self-development.

It can have a negative affect on your mindset based on how you choose to view and integrate the knowledge shared in the book into your overall believe system (as was the case for me).

Personally, I choose to believe that growth is something beautiful and even though, it always requires effort – which can be painful at times – it is also equally connected with joy AND fun.

My intention with this article is to help you understand that you can break through the regular ‘entrepreneur development cycle’ that consists of:

Take focused action.

See yourself making some progress.

Dream bigger.

Then, have yourself freak out internally about the progress you are making.

Self-sabotage.

End up where you started (or just a tiny bit further ahead).

THIS. IS. EXHAUSTING.

Let’s change this life-cycle and stop with the self-sabotaging already!

You are what you believe.

Choose to believe something else, something that will serve you better.

Believe in perfect timing <3.

In fact, believe that YOU have perfect timing. Always. And grow at a pace that feels right for you without ever ‘hitting’ any upper limits ever again.

How so?

Because whatever progress you are experiencing right now or, will experience in the future, YOU HAVE BEEN MADE FOR THIS.

As a result, this completely deflects and negates the concept of upper limits.

What’s your take on this? Would love to know in the comments down below <3.

The 10 Best Books Every Girl Boss Should Have on Her Shelf

This one thing you probably don’t know about me yet – unless you watch my Instagram Stories where quite occasionally, I post sections of the books I’m currently reading.

And boy, I usually don’t just read one book at a time. I have 2 or 3 that I rotate around based on my mood and needs that day.

My husband Ben constantly makes fun of me because of that. He’s more a one-book-at-a-time-kinda-guy. Oh well, opposites attract, right :)? But what we do have in common is our love for reading.

Lately, I’ve found a few books that especially resonated with me as a female entrepreneur, a girl boss so to speak. And I wanted to share them with you.

Dream Wedding (1)

My little Maltese-Dachshund mix, Lucky, is curled up next to me right now as I’m writing this. His head is resting on the book I’ve just put aside when inspiration hit to write this article.

So, let’s get to it. Are you ready? Here we go…

These are some of my most life-changing, perspective-shifting, inspirational books I’ve read this past year:

The 10 Best Books Every Girl Boss Should Have on Her Shelf

Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis – I’ve rarely read a book that felt so authentic. Rachel truly uncovers some raw and rather unspoken aspects of being a successful female business owner AND mother AND wife AND speaker AND… I still don’t know how she juggles everything. You will find yourself laughing out loud, nodding profusely and maybe even crying.

Captivate : The Science Of Succeeding With People by Vanessa Van Edwards – This book is like the bible for introverts and recovering (or still in the process) recovering awkward people… aka me :). Really. I wish I would have discovered this book YEARS ago. It would have helped me SO much in my business. Can you feel my passion for this book through this paragraph. Go get it now here.

Becoming  by Michelle Obama – Need I explain why you should check out this book? It’s truly inspirational from a smart, inspirational woman. I think you’ll love it as much as I did.

Dare To Lead by Brene Brown – How to step up and lead with heart. Mrs Brene Brown is one of those people on my list of people I must meet in my lifetime :). She’s that good and I love her humor and flair that she always injects her writing with. This book is best read with a nice glass of Rose and some music on in the background.

Start Where You Are by Meera Lee Patel – Every answer is inside of you. I personally truly believe that. If you feel stuck right now or confused or like you’ve hit a plateau, this book is for you. I’ve felt this way a LOT a few months ago and the thoughtful journaling prompts inside this book (which, okay, is more like a journal but still) have helped me find clarity with a lot of things.

Financial Intelligence by Karen Berman – If you are or want to become a business owner and have not graduated with a business diploma where you’ve probably learned all about this stuff (I wouldn’t know since my degree is in Diplomacy and Intercultural studies ^^), you need to read this book. Yes, finances are not sexy but they can AND should be. You will thank me later once your company is close to hitting seven or eight figures that I made you read this book ;).

Writing For Bliss by Diana Raab – Have you ever heard this saying that stories sell? Yes? Then you need to go read this book now. Period.

Train Your Brain: How To Build A Million Dollar Business In Record Time by Dana Wilde – Mindset is everything, darling. It truly is. It can make or break your success, regardless of how good you are at what it is you are doing or how advanced your product is. If you want to succeed you need to train your mindset like a muscle. This book will guide you in how to do this.

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert – A must read for any girl boss that is looking to live a successful, creative life.

Influencer: Building Your Personal Brand In The Age Of Social Media by Brittany Hennessy – If you are a fan of content creation businesses and want to make a name for yourself as the brand, this book is for you. It’s your blueprint for how to manage AND monetize your influence online.

FOR REALS

The thing is though… this list can seem really overwhelming to some of you, especially if you’re not a big reader. Don’t get me wrong, I feel like there is so much wisdom to be gained from reading books. You are essentially getting access to the experience someone has made for years and what they have learned from it. To me, there’s true value in that.

Regardless, I don’t want this list to hold you back from taking action NOW. You probably already know the next step that you need to be taking to get some momentum going. So, go ahead and take that step now. Read those above books along the way whenever you have time and for continuing education.

And don’t forget, these are all just perspectives of one person’s life and that person’s experiences. If something does not feel like it aligns with how you feel and it just does not seem to make sense for you, disregard it – regardless, of who wrote it. Even me!

You want to be forging your own path. Trust yourself the most whenever you get that feeling… you know which one I’m talking about ;).

And finally, and for fun…

HOLIDAY READS FOR THE BUSY GIRL BOSS TO RELAX

Do you remember how I mentioned I read 2 or 3 books at a time? Well, one of them is ALWAYS a fiction book (in addition to all the non-fiction books I read).

I just love stories. Heck, I’m totally addicted to them and I think that even a smart business person can learn a lot from reading popular and not so popular fiction books.

It’s about learning and understanding what moves people. Often times, the things that move us span entire continents and touch peoples hearts, regardless of gender or ethnicity.

So, I want to encourage you to not forget how fun reading can be! I often times stare at a computer sooo long that I am excited to get away from it and I do this with one heck of a good fiction book. Without further ado, here are my faves…

  1. The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah (looove her writing style and character development!)
  2. The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang (juicy. did I already say juicy hehe)
  3. Love And Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch (who doesn’t love gelato, right?)
  4. Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum (simply a cute novel)
  5. Shelter In Place by Nora Roberts (for those who love mystery and suspense)

One final tip before I go, those educational non-fiction books? Try them out on Audible. I love listening to an audiobook while doing my morning workout.

And from one Girlboss to another – tell me – what books have you been loving this year that I should add to this list? What books are you excited about that are being released in 2019?

10 things entrepreneurs can learn from Freddie Mercury!

Yep. After reading the title of this blog post, you probably figured already but Ben and I went ahead and watched The Bohemian Rhapsody this past weekend.

And boy! Are we in love with Freddie Mercury and our existing love for all the Queen songs has been newly ignited (okay, almost all, because I still don’t get the Bicycle song until this day ^^)!

After the movie, we went for some fusion Korean Bibimbap and Mexican dinner and chatted like always about our impressions of the movie and the story-line.

By the way, if you’re an entrepreneur and marketer, I highly recommend analyzing and dissecting the story lines of movies you’ve just seen.

Think back to what parts stuck out to you, where the theater audience ‘ahs and oohs‘ and why that might have been the case, etc. You learn a lot about creating a great story from watching great (and not so great) movies. Ma favorite!

Anyway, back to today’s post ;).

Here are the 10 things an entrepreneur can learn from Freddie Mercury:

(1) UTTER SELF-CONFIDENCE

“I won’t be a rockstar, I will be a Legend.”

Granted, probably none of you that are reading this right now ever wanted to be a rockstar. Or, maybe you did :)? Be sure to comment with what kind of rock star if that was the case #badassalert .

Regardless, it is save to say that especially as an entrepreneur, you want to build something legendary. You want to leave your mark on this world.

Am I right? Yes? Great!

Now, to leave your mark on this world it is SO important to believe in yourself. Regardless of what your parents, your spouse or significant other, your children, best friends, mentors, experts and students say – if you want to become a legend, follow Freddie Mercury’s example and believe in yourself.

Totally and completely.

Deal?!

(2) THE ALTER-EGO EFFECT

“You can be anything you want to be, just turn yourself into anything you think that you could ever be.”

Have you ever heard of the psychological phenomenon, the ‘Alter Ego effect’?

If not, here’s the gist of it:

An alter ego (Latin for "other self") is a second self, which is believed to be distinct from a person's normal or true original personality. A person who has an alter ego is said to lead a double life.

According to performance coach, Todd Herman, an Alter Ego allows you to increase your performance in business! How so?

Think about it…

Whether you know it or don’t realize it, you’re operating in your day with an alter ego – always. If you assume a different ego as a mother, father, boss, employee, etc. As such, you’re stepping into different stages of your life constantly: work, family, friends, public and private, and magnifying different parts of your personality to be successful in each of them.

The problem is, you’re more than likely allowing the fears, judgements of others and personal insecurities you have, to govern the actions you’re taking.

So, if you’d consciously create an Alter Ego for yourself as an entrepreneur, you can overcome all these road blocks so much faster and more efficiently.

How do you create an Alter Ego? Well, there are many ways to do so. It can be as simple as choosing to wear specific glasses throughout the day during work – or, whenever you do a call, FB live, etc. you put on a specific lipstick shade ;).

Freddie Mercury did the same by consciously creating his Alter Ego for the stage throughout his clothes. How will you do it? Leave a comment down below.

If you’re curious to read more about the Alter Ego effect, I recommend you check out Todd’s book here.

He also has this amazing program called, the 90 Day Year. I went through it twice already and loved it! In the program, he teaches you not only how to spike your performance as an entrepreneur but also, how to work way more efficiently. The program is currently closed but I recommend signing up to Todd’s waitlist to get notified and receive a free video training once he launches the program again ;).

(3) LOVE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

“I’m possessed by love, but isn’t everybody?”

Too often we are consumed by ego-centric questions like, “I want to hit that revenue,” “I’m afraid they don’t like what I have to offer,” “our operations need to improve,” etc.

They are all coming from the business’s and organization’s point of view and not, from the perspective of what is best for our customer and client. Surely, we care about them. But I want to advocate to care more about them <3.

To put our customers and clients experiences and results at the upmost importance to us, so much so that we think about this ninety percent of the time.

Because, if our customers and clients feel that we truly love doing business with them, this love, dedication and care will become amplified and success is unavoidable.

So, I want to encourage you that whatever it is that you do and create throughout your career, make sure to love what you are doing and for whom you are doing it for. Be in love with your market and niche, love your customers and clients, love your struggles as well as successes…

In the end, life is all about love, babe ;).

(4) GOAL SETTING

“I like to be surrounded by splendid things.”

What are some numbers that you’re trying to hit throughout your entrepreneurial journey and

Even when Freddie Mercury was still working at a packer at the London Heathrow Airport, he knew that one day he would like to be surrounded by splendid things.

He was always fighting, especially with his father about the kind of lifestyle he yearned to create. The thing is, if you also love the more splendid things in life, there is nothing wrong with it. It is totally okay and I encourage you to get clear on those.

Get clear on the goals that you have for your life and how you envision your ideal life to play out.

In case you feel like you need a little bit of help, to map out your goals for 2019, check out this free training masterclass that allows you to fully map out your 2019 Goals to guarantee you’re going to have the best year yet ;.

You can sign up for the free masterclass HERE to assure you set yourself up for success in 2019, even if you’ve struggled to hit your goals in the past <3.

(5) CHARISMA

“The reason we’re successful, darling? My overall charisma, of course.”

If there is one thing that we can all agree on it’s that Freddie Mercury had one bombastic charisma. Now, I dug into this a little bit and interestingly enough, I found out that you can learn how to become more charismatic!

I love Vanessa VanEdwards‘ research on this topic and here’s an interesting interview where she shares the ‘5 Habits Of Exceptionally Charismatic People’. Which one was the one that was most surprising to you? Comment down below for a chance to win an Amazon GiftCard 😉

(6) ORIGINALITY TRANSLATES

“The whole point of Queen was to be original.”

Why originality? Originality translates into emotions. Emotions connect people.

There is so much noise online and all around us. So much noise. We experience a constant onslaught of the media, different people’s opinions and more.

In a world that has so much noise, how do you find your originality? It’s a question that I ask myself a lot because I believe that originality is a part of making your message go viral (if not the most important part of the recipe when we talk about a business’s message).

So, how can you be original? I recommend checking out my free guide, The 10 Ways To Craft Authentic Organic Content Online’.You will find some amazing tips on how you can keep your voice fresh and original online ;).

(7) BE 1000% COMMITTED

“When we began, we approached it the way we did because we were not prepared to be out-of-work musicians, ever. We said either take it on as a serious commodity or don’t do it at all.”

Did you know that there was a test that measured your commitment? If your jaw just dropped open than you’re like me a few months ago when I first found out about it.

Test are always fun, aren’t they? So, I thought I’d share this with me. Granted, Freddie Mercury surely did not take this test to ever measure his level of commitment because he was so one-thousand percent committed to Queen and their goals.

Regardless, I think with all of the shiny object syndrome all around us that often times come from consuming things online, it is a great idea to measure your commitment to find out if it could use some focus on our end.

Here is the link to take the test. The best part? It’s free.

Commitment Test: http://www.mydailymoment.com/app/quiz/userquiz/takequiz/152

(8) PURPOSE

“I love the fact that I can make people happy, in any form. Even if it’s just an hour of their lives, if I can make them feel lucky or make them feel good, or bring a smile to a sour face, that to me is worthwhile.”

Why do you want to be an entrepreneur?
Why do you want to grow your specific business?
What is your purpose?
What is the message you want to share with your tribe?
What brings a smile onto your ideal customers and clients?
What brings a smile onto your own face?
How do you want your ideal customers or clients to feel when doing business with you?

If you’ve never stopped and paused to answer these questions for yourself, I want to encourage you to do so right now. Grab your favorite notebook or your journal, lighten a candle, turn on some soothing music and off you go. Figure out these questions for you.

Note: There are no right or wrong answers. There are only those answers that feel like they are in alignment with you.

(9) MONEY

“Money can not buy happiness, but it can damn well give it!”

This is something that I absolutely believe in. Growing a business means that you have to grow your business revenue. This is something any business owner will always focus on.
If your revenue is not growing, your business is not growing.

Side note: You might find this article interesting that I wrote on how my team and I at FunnelGal hit the $20,000 in a month in revenue mark *yay*. Enjoy!

Read more here: https://corneliapauline.com/2017/12/24/true-behind-scenes-look-making-20000-revenue-month/

Now, the more money you personally make does not mean that your happiness will grow at the same rate. You are responsible for your own happiness and it is something that is fundamentally innate.

However, something that will definitely ignite your own happiness is if you give meaningful gifts and financial support to someone in dire need of it.

(10) ALLOW YOURSELF TO DREAM

“My soul has painted like the wings of butterflies,
Fairy tales of yesterday will grow but never die,
I can fly, my friends…”

And now, after you’ve finished reading this post, go ahead and fly, darling <3!

Show us what you are made of.

The Secret Key To Winning At Any Online Marketing Strategy

So, here’s a thought…Let’s say you’ve spent months learning about funnels and online marketing strategies.

You read all the books.
You consumed all the videos.
You listened to all the podcasts.
You’ve done all the work.

And… you continue to do so.

But, your funnel STILL is not converting.
The sales are not coming in.
Your product or service offering is not getting picked up.
Your revenue is not increasing.

And, in fact, you’re even going into the negative with your investment because you’re spending too much on… well, whatever. You know.

So, where’s the hiccup?
What is happening?
Why ain’t your funnel converting?

I have this theory…
The issue lies within your BELIEF – or lack thereof.

Deep down.
Yep, really, really, really deep down at times.

You do not believe in your product and that it can bring people the results you promise you can bring them.
You do not believe in your service offering and that you actually have the experience and expertise to make a difference for your client.
Above all, you do not believe in yourself.

And to hit the nail on the head:
You do not believe – if you’re really honest with yourself – that you deserve to make a nice income with your funnel(s) and create a rich life for you and your family.

If this resonates with you right now, there are 2 ways to work through this:

(1) Your product/service offering actually does suck and you need to go back to the drawing board and make it as great as it can be.

This way, you will automatically believe in it and the ‘sales’ and ‘selling’ part of things is not going to be an issue anymore.

Now, how can you go about improving your offering?

I recommend you go back to ‘the essentials’.

If you have customers and clients, talk to them and make sure you record the conversations (asking them before you do though, of course). You want to find out where they are still stuck.

What is slowing them down still?

Where did you not truly address their challenges and pain points they came to you in the first place for? Sometimes this could mean creating only a couple of additional lessons for your digital product – or, getting rid of some because they are confusing to your students.

If none of your students – that HAS gone through your course or program – has gotten results yet by now, you need to truly rethink the entire course that you have created.

If you are a service provider and you feel like your clients are continuously not one hundred percent happy with your services, you need to work on honing your craft further, darling <3.

This is the time to do it. You are only going to end up having lots of sleepless nights if you keep trying to sell your services of which you know, you can not one hundred percent deliver.

Surely, there are cases where it is your client’s responsibility why things aren’t working out for them. But if you see a pattern and really nobody is happy or is referring you or tagging your name on social media, this is a sign from the universe to take it slow and work on your craft.

Deal?

Okay, next one…

(2) Your self-worth needs some much needed l-o-v-e 😉.

Now if this is the underlying reason why you are not getting any sales, you can solve by doing mindset work!

What does mindset work look like?

Well, it’s pretty much like if you’d be exercising. You need to be doing it on a consistent and daily basis (and yes, if you really have to, you can skip Sundays but I would not suggest you do that at the beginning).

Some form of mindset work can involve one – if not all – of the following such as:

Journaling, reading books in and around mindset topics, taking a positive program, hiring a mindset coach, getting into and practicing mediation, etc.

By the way and because I know you’re going to ask me, here is a list of my FAVORITE mindset books that were a true game changer for me:

(1)

(2)

(3)

(4)

(5)

Find out what type of mindset work resonates with you the most and brings about the desired changes.

And don’t forget, in order to see real change happening in your life, you need to be doing this consistently. Sooner rather than later, you will see your believe system change.

And if you’re still reading this, yes you my dear…

You.
Are.
Enough.

.

Let’s do this!

What is the most touching act of kindness you have ever witnessed or experienced?

What is the most touching act of kindness you have ever witnessed or experienced?

So this happened about 5 years ago.

My husband has just been relocated to Southern California for work and I was transferring schools in order to finish my degree close to where he worked.

We had been struggling a bit a few years prior to that and were still struggling financially, especially after trying to settle down in a relatively (for U.S. average standards) pricey area.

Long story short, we barely could make ends meet for the first few months and until I finished college.

I took on two other part-time jobs next to attending university full-time.

I needed to finish school as soon as possible because University was also way more expensive than in the previous state I had attended college at.

My husband was in sales and still had not staked out his new sales territory yet so to speak and built up a reputation for himself.

So some months we were doing okay and others, we could only survive because we had a little bit saved up.

Our 4 year anniversary came up (yep, in case you’re wondering, we got married really young) and I’d already agreed upon with my husband that we would just celebrate it at home amongst us.

Nothing fancy and no gifts.

However, he totally surprised me and took me on a surprise afternoon car ride to Beverly Hills.

He said, “Babe! I know you’ve been working really really hard these past few months and you deserve this. I know we will make it through this rough patch eventually but for today, let me just do this for you, okay? I need to do this.

I nodded because I could feel it was important to him.

He pulled up in front of a restaurant.

I remember it was the same fancy restaurant I had seen while driving by on a road trip that we took once through Los Angeles and Southern California with some friends of ours a couple of years back.

A restaurant where I had seen several elegant couples emerge and come out and I had jokingly declared that I wanted us to be this way one day and to eat there once we would fulfill our dream of moving to Southern California.

Side note: I’m a big foodie ;).

Anyway, we pulled up in front of the restaurant and went inside.

The waiter was very nice and friendly. The place didn’t feel stuck up or anything like that at all of what you might have thought of when dining at a fancy place in Beverly Hills like this.

The middle-aged garçon guided us to our table.

We were seated on a side corner of the restaurant.

Almost right next to us was a dad and his about eight year old daughter.

They looked tired somehow, I remembered.

I also remembered how I thought that they looked just a little bit sad.

Another waiter came up to our table and congratulated us on our anniversary.

We smiled and even giggled a little bit.

However, when I saw the prices on the menu I honestly almost had a little heart attack.

I never in my life ate such an expensive meal before.

I stared in shock at my husband who just nodded at me calmly and squeezed my right hand.

He leaned over to me and whispered into my right ear,

“Please relax. I’ve saved up for this for the past few months.”

My stomach was still in knots but I didn’t want to spoil my husband’s surprise that he had planned for me so sweetly.

So I put on a smile and we went on to enjoy a truly AH-MAZING meal.

In case you want to know what it was, here is a pic from it :):

I kept glancing over at the dad and his daughter and they glanced over at us as well a few times.
We sat so close so it kind of happened frequently.

Then, I saw the dad and his daughter get ready to leave.

I also noticed that he whispered something into the waiter’s ear when he received the check from him.

As they were about to leave, he smiled at us one last time. His eyes still carried a certain sadness.

He took his auburn hair daughter by the hand. His daughter turned around one more time as they almost approached the exit and shot me a secretive look.

She was one beautiful girl.

I shrugged and remember thinking I wish I knew how to make the sadness from their eyes go away.

At this point my husband and I got ready to leave.

My husband asked for the check.

The waiter came and handed it to us.

Though before he let go of the brown leather folder that held the bill inside he said,

“The gentlemen and his daughter that have just left have paid for your bill. He said his daughter wanted to gift this to you both for your anniversary because the two of them thought you were such a nice young couple.”

My husband and I literally gawked at him.

We could not believe it!

When my husband and I opened the leather folder with the paid check, there was a little crunched up paper on top of everything.

It was written in ink:

“Love is everything. Don’t ever let money or the lack thereof dictate the happiness you can share between the both of you.

Regards,

A kind stranger and his daughter.”

What a keen observer. What a sweet little girl. What a great lesson.

P.s.: I wish I still had that note. However, sadly, I lost it during our last move. Regardless, I will never forget the kindness that this one family bestowed upon my husband and I and every time we hear about or notice a couple that is celebrating their anniversary, we try and give back through little acts of kindness <3.

4 Big Milestones To Reach $1 Million In Sales With Your Business Online

Many of you might be wondering what the road map to success looks like when planning for the future of your online business to reach the one million dollars in sales mark.

Though, what are the main 4 steps that you should be focusing on as your business develops to make sure to reach your goal?

To really have an online business that is sustainable, consistently growing, and partly automated, you have to put in the work—and part of that is knowing WHAT milestones to expect.

There are four big steps, especially in terms of what you are offering in your business, and these steps are what I’m sharing with you today.

1.  Focus on one core product.

As an entrepreneur starting out, you need to first establish two things: what are you selling? And who are you selling it to?

Ideally, you want to have a core product in the price range of $100-$300. This will generate good revenue when you start selling.

However, if you have an e-commerce shop, it works a little different number-wise. Regardless, you want to focus hard on making that one product work, selling it, almost on autopilot, until the market wants it and wants to buy it from you.

2. Implement backend offer.

If you are focusing on that core product, and really pushing it out to your niche audience, you should hit your $1 million milestone in a matter of months to a year.

Once you reach $1 million in revenue, then you can focus on your backend offer, usually something a little higher priced. This will allow you to really double down on business and get those conversion rates to a place where you can feel good about them.

3. Reach more audiences.

If you answered those two questions at the beginning, then you should have a good idea of who your niche audience is. And if you have been focusing on your core product and backend offer, you have enough freedom in your business to find different audience segments.

Get creative.

Who else can you help with your core product?

How can you pivot your message (or your core product) to meet new audiences?

4. Scale, scale, scale.

By this point, your core product is well-received with testimonial proof, helping people, and generating revenue.

You have your backend offer in place, and you’re finding ways to continuously bring people in with different tripwire products.

Now, it’s time to scale up as much possible. This is when you invest money into paid advertising so that more people find your business. And this is where you should really blow up!

Hopefully, if you’ve followed these milestones, and put the work and building blocks in place, you’ll find success in your business online.

How The Right Home Office Can Save Your Business?

When I first transitioned from having a corporate job to working from home in my jammies, I had no idea what I was in for.

Full disclosure, I’ve actually never worked in my PJs before.

Why?

Because I can’t get into the right, fiery mindset to crush it on any given day, if I wear my jammies.

Regardless, of how cute they are :).

The most important realization that I had was that it did not work for me to do work while lounging around in my bed, or from my living room coach, or from the kitchen table, etc.

Not only that, since my dogs and my husband were around and had no idea in terms of what my work schedule was like, there were constant interruptions.

And interruptions are no good.

They distract you from what you set out to do and then, you have to re-invest the energy to get back into ‘the zone‘.

However, I was SO incandescently happy to be finally able to work from home – to have set myself free of the corporate world – that I did not think about things like setting up a ‘home office’.

Side Note: You might also enjoy: https://corneliapauline.com/2018/03/10/how-i-went-from-boring-corporate-job-to-blissful-boss-in-less-than-1-year/

Heck, the word ‘office’ itself scared me for like a year after I had quit my corporate job.

Though, what happened?

I lost my routine – any routine, to be precise.

And regardless of how unsexy that word might sound to you, routine is THE most important thing you can ever incorporate into your entrepreneurial/freelancer lifestyle.

Believe me, if you had known me years ago, you’d know how crazy that is of me to be writing right now.

I hated routine.

I was the kind of gal who got anxiety and the occasional panic attacks only to have to attend high school. Not because I didn’t have any friends or was teased or anything like that. I had my lovely, close friends and was known as a pretty cool, goofy kinda girl.

I just did not like the fact that I had to adhere to doing the same thing, day in, day out.

What I did not understand until just fairly recently is that having the RIGHT routine truly sets you free.

It’s the discipline within the routine that will help you move mountains in your professional and personal life.

Now, why a home office?

I say that one of the most important things you can do after quitting your nine-to-five or other type of job is to have a designated home office area in your home.

Somewhere, where you can go in the morning after completing your morning routine (whatever you decide that to be).

Over these past 8 months, I not only have a designated home office in our loft here in Southern California but, I also decided to sign up for an office at WeWork.

And guess what?

My productivity level has spiked up so much than before when I had no real place to work from.

Not only that, I learned that any successful entrepreneur had a designated office in his/her home. From Sara Blakely to Elon Musk, from Chiara Ferragni to Amy Porterfield and so on.

If you want to build up a successful, serious business (and you i.e. don’t want to freelance forever), you are going to reach that point where you’re going to take this seriously.

Now in this blog post, I also wanted to share with you a few of my favorite things that I have placed or put around throughout my home office :).

These are suggestions that will help you become even more productive.

But totally feel free to find and choose your own favorite Home Office items.

The CEO Chair

I love having a colorful chair, a red one in particular. Red is such a power color for me and even though, I never tend to wearing red when it comes to my fashion (except for the occasional blazer), I absolutely love this chair. Makes me feel like a CEO. You can get it here.

My BossLady Mug

I’m a total coffee addict :).

I guess that comes naturally from growing up in Vienna, Austria.

And to get in the right mindset in the morning already, I love to use this LadyBoss mug. It really helps me set my intentions correctly.

You can get yours here.

Good Lighting

Sometimes, you’ve got to work late nights in your business.

I find it important to have warm and good lighting around me and this is by far my favorite table lamp. Get your own here.

A Tripod

The tripod is particularly important to record Facebook Live or Youtube videos from.

I’ve tested many different ones and this one is the sturdiest and one that works the best with both my Samsung Galaxy 8 and iPhone ;).

A Library of my favorite motivational and business books

A lot of members of my tribe absolutely love my bookshelf background that I usually like to use when recording videos or doing Facebook Lives.

It doesn’t only make for a cool background but it also adds such a feeling of homeyness that in my opinion, you can only attain through adding a bookshelf ot your room such as this one. Get it here.

For more inspirational design ideas regarding your perfect Home Office, check out my Pinterest Board ideas.

Also, if for whatever reason you would like to right away join a co-working space because you maybe live in a studio apartment or have children, etc. I definitely recommend scheduling a tour at your local WeWork location.

Note: WeWork is not affiliated with this recommendation. I just generally like them.

What are your favorite home office items? Drop a comment in the comments section down below ;).

Funnel Hacking Live 2018 – 27 Key Takeaways

I want to make this a bit of a different kind of recap than the usual ones you can read out there about an event conference such as Funnel Hacking Live is.

I’m not going to tell you all of the operational things or how I liked the venue, the hotel, the food, etc.

Instead, I’m going to share with you my most important takeaways that I was able to take away from the conference in terms of value and you can decide if you think this conference was worth my while.

Deal?

The value that I can’t describe in words, I made sure to add by adding pictures with some of my most favorite people I was able to snap a picture with during this past week <3.

Just so you know, images and takeaways are random and not in order.

Enjoy! Here we go ;).

SIDE NOTE: In case you have never heard of Funnel Hacking Live, it’s one of the biggest digital marketing conferences in the world where the premier folks in the digital marketing world brainstorm over sales and marketing funnels and share industry updates and a bunch of other value.

The founder of this conference is none other than Russell Brunson. He is the creator of the world’s fastest growing funnel building software CLICKFUNNELS. (where you can build like sales funnels, webinar funnels, landing pages, eCommerce funnels, etc.).

(1) The 2 Most Important Things To Ask Your On A Daily Basis As An Online Business Owner:

–> What am I selling?

–> How am I selling it?

(2) If You Haven’t Hit $1 Million In Revenue, Your Focus Should Be On:

–> Focusing on your CORE FUNNEL that sells your CORE PRODUCT. Get that one to work first before you add on tripwires and backend offers.

This is not to stay that you should not have your entire value ladder of your business in your head planned out already. However, your focus should not be divided. You’ll reach your revenue goal faster that way.

(3) There Are 3 Ways To Grow A Company:

–> More customers.

–> Get those customers to spend more money.

–> Get them to spend more money more often.

(4) The Best Instagram Story Ad You Can Run Is:

A click-bait style ad. These can look something like this…

Copyright by JCrew.

Currently, these types of ads convert the most.

(5) Handpick who you want to work with.

You don’t want to find yourself in a position where you make great money, millions a year even, but you’re just so unhappy with the types of clients and/or customers you have.

Create your ideal customer and client avatar in order to attract the right people to your business, the ones were it’s purely a joy to work with them.

(6) What Causes A Customer To Buy Over And Over Again?

Besides having a great product – naturally – it’s fostering and nurturing a culture around your brand/business.

How do you do that? Well, if you know how you do that utilizing Facebook and just Facebook alone, check out my CONNECT program on organic Facebook marketing for entrepreneurs:

Click image to learn more about the program!

(7) People Can Smell Inauthenticity.

If you keep one thing in mind and one thing only that will help you succeed with your online content strategy and distribution, is to be vulnerable and real.

Be the authentic you and don’t try and imitate anybody else. Yes, you can model the same strategies that other entrepreneurs and business owners are doing. However, you have to make them applicable to and fit you.

Vulnerability is the ultimate human connector.

(8) Don’t Ever Rely On 1 Distribution Channel For Your Message.

Decide on the social media channels you want to be using that you can be a star in and make sure your message is everywhere on those.

(9) Always Be Growing Your Email List

Your email list is THE livelihood of your online business. Constantly, figure out ways to grow, nourish and improve the content you share to your list.

(10) Fail Fast.

You’ve heard this one before, I’m sure. However, it’s still so important to keep in mind.

The first time you put something out there, 99% of the time it usually won’t work!

As a result, fail fast to get to the 1% that will work and keep in mind, business is never about you. It’s about people.

(11) CPA < ACV

Whenever you run any type of paid advertisement, you always want to make sure that your Cost per Acquisition (or CPA) is lower than your Average Cart Value (or ACV).

This is the key to growing a profitable business.

(12) Only Listen To The Market.

Put your ego completely aside.

The only opinion that matters is the opinion of your market, how they respond and if they deem your offer valuable enough for them to pull out a credit card.

(13) The Average Lifetime Of An Online Ad.

Can you guess what it is?

The answer: 3 weeks.

(14) If A Funnel Page Isn’t Converting.

It’s mostly because your hook isn’t clear enough. So, you need to double down and make sure you really clarify your message.

“What’s the hook behind why someone would want this offer?”

Answer this question and you got it.

(15) The Best Tool You Have Available When It Comes To Marketing:

Building up CURIOSITY.

(16) Funnel Hacking 101.

If you decide to model your funnel after a successful funnel, you absolutely need to make sure to model ALL of the elements on each funnel page. Even the smallest detail and color of the Call To Action button. There’s most likely a reason for everything.

(17) How To Publish Consistently On Social Media?

Just make a commitment to doing so. It’s sometimes really that simple.

(18)  Clarity Trumps Persuasion.

Clarity trumps persuasion.

Clarity trumps persuasion.

Clarity trumps persuasion.

Got it :)?

(19) Money Is Spiritual.

In order to operate on a higher spiritual plane, you MUST focus on someone other than yourself.

(20) Action Creates Traction.

Most people don’t push forward though because of fear.

However, change the story you tell yourself and start asking yourself, “What if I can…?”

(21) Create Content In Context With Your Day.

This way, you can keep your content unique and real.

(22) Always Sell The Vacation, Not The Plane.

Guess what most online entrepreneurs out there do? They try to describe and sell the plane, instead of focusing on selling the transformation of the experience you’re going to receive when going on that vacation.

(23) How To Get Rid Of Self-Doubt?

Outwork your self-doubt :).

(24) Prospects Judge You Based On Your Free Stuff.

As a result, make sure your free stuff rock and in alignment with what you offer in your paid programs and services.

(25) The Best Way For Sales To Happen Online?

Display of an almost overwhelming amount of social proof.

(26) Selling = Serving.

You can make someone’s life better by selling your product/service and helping them with something they are struggling with. Don’t deny that power you have. Don’t look down on ‘selling’. Selling is awesome.

(27) Energy Comes From Psychology.

You get most of your energy from the state of your mind, or your mindset – NOT from sleep, food, etc.

Have you ever slept for only 3 hours but were super awake the next day? Or, have you slept for 9 hours but felt super groggy and tired the next day.

The difference = mindset.

Work on yours and you will win that game that is business.

Hope this blog post inspired you! If it did, be sure to show some love and share this article with your community ;).
